The International Program

In 1995, the International Program was established to offer students the opportunity to earn Bachelor’s degrees in different aspects of the international business world. The two focus studies are International Business Administration and International Hotel and Tourism Management, where English is used as the official medium of the International program.

The International Business Program is a 4-year undergraduate study program leading toward the degree of Bachelors of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in International Business.  The Ministry of University Affairs of Thailand has approved this curriculum and it has been designed in response to the rapidly increasing market demands for human resources in this particular field of today’s global business community.  In addition to preparing the students for international business practices, the B.B.A. program also provides them with perspectives on cultural aspects such as language, religion, customs, traditions, and politics as well as local and regional business practices.

The Bachelor of Business Administration in Service Industry Management is a multi-discipline field of study, with the purpose of preparing students with the expertise, commitments and skills necessary for supervisory and management positions in the hospitality industry.  Objectives of the coursework include:  improving language proficiency to increase the effectiveness of human resource work, strong technical and managerial skills, and providing students with an understanding of issues that affect the hospitality industry.  The B.B.A. in Service Industry Management is a 4-year international program under the joint responsibility of the Department of Hotel Studies and Tourism, the Faculty of Liberal Arts and the Office of International Programs at Siam University.
